About the Founder
Jonathan Renuart graduated from Cleveland State University in 2014 with a Bachelors of Art focusing in printmaking and a K-12 teaching certification. He has 6 years experience as a bronze sculpture apprentice and in 2016 co-owned a traveling glass fusion class in Northern Ohio. He brought his classes to Austin, Texas for 2017-2018, and recently moved back to North East Ohio in the fall of 2018. He believes that artistic expression is a therapeutic practice that can improve overall life experience. Spreading this confidence of creating art with friends is a passion of his.
"I returned to Lakewood, Ohio fall of 2018 after spending a year in Austin, TX to develop myself as an artist and an entrepreneur. HourGlass Studios LLC. is a traveling glass fusion class based out of Lakewood, Ohio that brings the excitement of glass jewelry making to your home or business venue! We bring all the materials, tools, and instruction needed to create beautiful and unique glass earrings and necklace pendants. This is a beginner to intermediate level class, where no previous art or glass experience is required! We offer a variety of party packages (including a fun board game party package!) to bring a twist to any family gathering, birthday party, bachelorette party, weekly group meet up, or team-building exercise.
